WOW! Awards The WOW! Awards are new for the 2009-10 year, and are designed to recognize excellent teaching practices in the Alamo Heights Independent School District.
Eligibility:
Any member of the AHISD faculty, staff or administration as well as any current 12th grade student can nominate a teacher/educator for a Wow! Award. The committee would like to recognize someone who goes "above and beyond" in their teaching (whether that is always being available, inspiring a class to excel, or making a real difference in the lives of the students). The AHSF Board will make selections based on submission.
Amounts:
All WOW! Awards granted shall be in the amount of $250 to be used for the recipient’s classroom or school-related project.
